We’ve moved! Our new office is bigger and better than ever, stay tuned for our Opening Date announcement. We can’t wait to see you there!
We're so excited to announce that our new Maker Space is under construction and will be opening soon! Sign up today to be notified once it's open, our events, and group meet-ups.
The Maker Space at Pudgy Panda Design is open to everyone! It's for complete beginners who want to try out a new hobby and need a little help getting started, people that want to create a single project, or seasoned pros looking for a place to get inspired. If you have an idea for a project that you want to bring to life, we'd love to help you make it!
We're a small craft-focused space (for now!), specializing in crochet, knit, cross-stitch, embroidery/needlepoint, small scale sewing, small craft painting, woodburning, and more. Take a look at what we've currently got, but be sure to check back often so you don't miss the newest additions!
We're always adding new machinery, tools, and varieties of crafts. You're free to BYO approved materials, or use our supplies at very low cost.
We have a TON of different art/craft supplies in house, so let us help you save some time and money. If you're looking for something in particular, we'll be happy to check our stock before you head down! We also offer portion purchases, so you won't have to over purchase.
The perfect place to grab a few supplies, all free! The Craft Closet is full of new and gently/partially used craft supplies that people no longer need and wanted to donate for others.
We're updating this page frequntly, so not all the information is up (like pricing, Maker Space hours, etc). We wanted to get the basic information about what's coming as soon as we could, we were too excited to keep it a secret!
While we're getting settled into our new home and setting things up, our maker space will be open to everyone during open tudio hours on a first come, first serve basis. We'll have a limited selection of machinery and materials to use while we're moving in and setting up, with more machinery/tools being added soon. In the future, we'll have machine and space reservations available so you can have a guanranteed time on the machine(s) you need.
Once we're fully open, the Maker Space will have several affordable options for use so you can find the one that works best for you, your needs, AND your wallet! Options include per use item pricing, hourly machine use fees, discounted multi-day passes, and monthly memberships. For more information about fees and material costs, please see our Pricing Page.
Due to our available space, we mostly are focused on small crafting tools/machines. We'll be adding more supplies all the time, and we're happy to take requests, so don't be shy about what you want to see in the Maker Space!

Our vision is to one day move into a larger space so we'd be able to expand our equipment offerings! Due to our available space and safety requirements (such as proper ventilation and fire suppression systems), we do not have any of the following machines available:
3D Printer (Please visit the Franklin Count Library down the street, they have one, and it's very affordable!)
Laser Maker Machines (Glowforge, xTool, etc)
Turning Lathes and CNC Machines
Resin Making Supplies or Tumbler Turner
Dye Sublimation Equipmet or Press
We are happy to recomend some great local shops that may be able to help you out!
The Craft Closet is a free community resource for everyone! People donate their leftover or unneeded craft supplies of all kinds, and you're free to take what you need. It's a great resource for anyone who wants to try out a new hobby without the expense of buying a ton of supplies for it. We ask that you be mindful of others, only take what you need, and bring back anything you don't use.
If you're interested in donating to the Craft Closet, we'll happily accept most craft/art supplies. They don't need to be perfect, but we ask that they're usable (no dried-out paint tubes, for example). We have limited space available right now, so we currently are not able to accept large amounts of fabrics or bulky items.
Absolutely! I love crafting, especially when I can help someone bring their idea to life. I'm happy to help you with some suggestions, tips, and tricks, or ways to create the look you want. I'm also here to help you set up machines, so no worries if it's your first time! For more involved projects, instruction, or "handy-craftperson" services, my rates typically are for per project rather than hourly rates to keep my prices low.
Nope! I'm here to help get everything set up for you, no prior experience needed! For projects that require more in depth assistance or redesigning, we can discuss what options you have to make it happen.
If you're looking for in-depth training on machines or software, I do offer affordable, personalized one-on-one classes for machines and software. I can also suggest other resources to help you learn if you're more of an independent learner!
